BatchAndGather is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
I may also participate in other affiliate programs from time to time. When that happens, this page will be updated to reflect those relationships.
What this means in practice:
- When you click an affiliate link on this site and complete a qualifying purchase, I earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
- Affiliate links are used on recipe pages, equipment recommendation pages, pillar content, and anywhere I reference a specific product.
- The presence of an affiliate link does not influence my recommendation. If something doesn't meet my standard, I don't link it - commission or no commission.
- I do not accept payment to recommend products I wouldn't otherwise stand behind.
Why This Matters (And Why I'm Telling You)
The FTC requires that bloggers and content creators disclose material connections to brands and affiliate programs. That means if there's a financial relationship between me and a product I recommend, you need to know about it before you click.
That's a legal requirement. It's also just the right thing to do.
Affiliate revenue helps keep the content on BatchAndGather free. The systems, recipes, and professional knowledge on this site don't sit behind a paywall - affiliate commissions are part of how that stays true.
How to Spot an Affiliate Link
Affiliate links are not hidden or disguised. Individual pages and posts that contain affiliate links include a disclosure notice at the top of the page. If you ever want to know whether a specific link is an affiliate link, you're welcome to ask through the Contact page.
